Video editing is a great storytelling tool. I've found it to be a fantastic way to hone my pacing skills as well as a unique avenue to showcase my ideas in an easily digestible and understandable way. In the highly creative teams I've worked with, ensuring alignment on a shared vision is easier to achieve through visual and motion mocks. It also comes in handy when I can assist with the creation of marketing assets, like trailers.
